The Life Sciences industry is a combination of many organizations that deal in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, Nutraceutical processing, biomedical technologies, life systems technologies, environmental, biomedical devices and more.
The industry segments include research of potential market for drug types, drug discoveries, drug development and testing, government approvals, drug manufacturing, sales and marketing, supply and distribution.
The terms “life sciences” and “biotechnology” are used interchangeably. There is some debate about whether they mean the same thing, but experts feels that they have subtle differences and both address some of the same as well as different areas.
